Merchant Capture is a service available to our business banking customers who process checks.

How it works
…in three easy steps!
- Receive checks from your customers
- Scan your checks with a Merchant Capture check scanner
- Transmit the images to the bank
Upon receiving your check images; we will make the deposit to your business checking account.
Getting started…
- Assessment – We’ll review the volume of checks you process daily so we can provide you with the correct scanner.
- Equipment – You will need:
- A Personal Computer
- An Internet connection
- A Printer
- Check Scanner (you lease from us).
- System Requirments – Your PC must have:
- Minimum 512 MB RAM
- USB 2.0 (MVX); standard USB (UEC scanner)
- Minimum operating system software is either:
- Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional, or
- Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Note: Microsoft Windows Home Edition will NOT work with Merchant Capture. Using the latest version of Windows 2000 or XP Professional is recommended.
- Bank Account – You must have an active business checking account with us.
- Setup – After the assessment, our implementation team will set up your scanner and Merchant Capture software.
- Implementation – Your company’s staff will be trained to use the equipment and software during the set up process. We’ll guide you through your first transactions so your business makes a smooth transition.
